Refund policy

At our small business, we prioritise your orders and feel disheartened when issues arise. In the rare event that things don't go as planned, we kindly ask you to reach out to us promptly for assistance. Below you will find details regarding refund eligibility.


Refund Eligibility

  • We have a 48-hour refund policy; Due to the nature of our business and the time -sensitive nature of cake preparation, orders with a delivery date/time of less than 48 hours away are not eligible for cancellation/refund.
  • Same-day and Next-day cake delivery orders cannot be cancelled.
  • Due the nature of perishable goods (such as cakes, cupcakes, and baked goods), perishable goods are not eligible for a return/refund. Custom products (such as special orders or personalised or handwritten items), are not eligible for return/refund.
  • We are proud of the taste and quality of cakes that we produce. We strive to ensure that every cake leaving our kitchen meets highest standards. Taste is subjective, once delivered, we do not offer refunds based on personal taste preferences.
  • You should inspect your order upon receipt and notify your delivery driver immediately of any damage to the order or receiving the wrong order. The delivery driver will take the baked goods and correct the issue or if needed we will send out a brand-new order. 
  • In the case of any issues with the cake, cupcakes, or baked goods, please contact us within an hour of receiving the order for resolution. You can contact us via phone email or live chat. Resolution options become limited outside of this timeframe.
  • Any issues with orders should be reported within a maximum of 6 hours to ensure we can address them, any complaints after this time can not be rectified by us.
  • As busy as London is, we have an 87% success rate when it comes to on-time deliveries. In the rare case that delivery is over an hour later than the chosen delivery window, and the order is still received by the recipient, your delivery fee will be refunded. 
  • Our current success rate for on-time deliveries is 87%. We can do better; we work daily on new methods to improve our delivery service. You reserve the right to cancel your order if it is running over an hour later than the chosen delivery window - a full refund will be given if the order is cancelled for this reason.  
  • Please alert your delivery driver in the rare case of any missing ad-on items, such as candles etc, any missing items from the order will be refunded. 


Refunds
We will notify you if your request for a refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days (excludes weekends and bank holidays). Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your refund, please contact us via email, via phone or via live chat.
